These are the voices of people who have found a home at UUFSB:

Found our religious home …

“After being married by a UU minister in 1971, we didn’t have plans to attend a UU congregation on LI where we moved after getting married. When our first son was 3 years old, we knew it was time to attend UUFSB and get our son involved in religious education, as did our second son years later. On our third Sunday we asked to sign the membership book and voila, we had found our religious home.” Shelly & Tony Psaris

A supportive community …

“In so many of my experiences as part of UUFSB, I have gotten to know others and felt more a part of the community. This is a safe place to stretch your wings, try something new. Wonderful friendships have also come out of my involvements. At UUFSB you will find supportive people who will help you feel a part of a spiritual community.” Linda Kirk

Seeking answers …

“I was not brought up in an observant religious home and, as an adult, I did not feel a strong need to belong to any congregation. However, I was aware that I had the same life questions as everyone. Why are we here? What happens after we die? At some point my family and I attended some UUFSB services. We found a religion that encourages us to seek our own answers and to support each other in our continued search for greater understanding. This community became my religious home and I’ve been here now for 25 years.  I invite you to attend a few services and decide if it fits you as it does me.”  Dave Bernstein
