Workshop on Putting the Eighth Principle into Action

Enter into Conversation with Paula Cole Jones, one of the authors of the Eighth Principle, to explore “Building a Culture of Inclusion.” The Board of Trustees of UUFSB and the Huntington congregation are co-sponsoring this workshop to energize support for doing the work of the Eighth Principle.

The goals are:
• To help to create a tipping point of congregational members who understand and support the 8th Principle and see themselves connected to a national movement for greater inclusion in UU communities.
• To introduce strategies for working toward long-term cultural change and to elicit the knowledge of participants about how to engage the congregation.
• To share a framework for how collaboration and accountability shape the racial and social justice history of institutions in the United States.
• To engage participants in an interactive experience of the transformative power of the 8th Principle.

Paula Cole Jones is a life-long Unitarian Universalist, innovator of institutional transformation, and a Management Consultant with over twenty years of experience in designing and facilitating workshops and dialogues for leaders and organizations.

The workshop will be presented on Zoom. To register and for more information, please contact John Lutterbie, john.lutterbie@gmail.com or 631-708-4135.
