The TriCoalition Campaign to Just Stop Unjust Stops in which UUFSB’s Racial Concerns Committee is a partner had a successful rally and press conference on Sept. 9 at Veteran’s Plaza in Hauppauge. The next step in the campaign is to show up in force at the full meeting of the Suffolk County Legislature in Hauppauge at the William P. Rogers Building on Oct. 11. The public speaking section begins around 10:00 a.m., but people who wish to speak to the issue can sign up at the lobby desk before then. You can also call the legislature or email a statement.
