Our guest speaker, Pramila Venkateswaran, will discuss casteism. Ms Venkateswaran is a poet, teacher and president of the local chapter of Suffolk National Organization for Women. She will address 1) what the contemporary struggle against casteism is like for people from India working in America and 2) what the struggle against casteism is like for people in contemporary India.
