UUFSB Hiking Group – Next Hike Is Sun., Aug. 30
The next UUFSB hike will be on Sun., Aug. 30, at 6:30 p.m. The location will be Cedar Beach, 244 Harbor Beach Rd, Mt Sinai. We will park at the western end of the main parking lot, near the basketball court. Pass through the booth, make a quick right into the parking lot and then a quick left. The link below will guide you to the exact location on Google Maps or Apple Maps. I will be in my red Subaru Forester or blue Chevy Equinox.
We will walk a relatively flat, sidewalk trail west towards the fishing pier. The walk is about 1/2 mile with many viewing points and benches along the way. We will start at 6:30 p.m. so that we can see the setting sun (7:27 p.m.) when we arrive at the dock. There will be an optional stop at McNulty’s Ice Cream Parlor after the walk. No need to RSVP; we will start the walk without taking attendance. Rain will cancel this event. I will send out an email by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the hike if we are cancelling.
