The Worship Associates are: Ellen Bartley; Carol Castillo; June Cerveny; Wendy Engelhardt; Mike Hoffman; Laura Lesch; Sara Lutterbie; Alyse Parise; Maureen Shaiman; Lorraine Stidd; Gina Talento and Dave Tarbell.  This year, Carol and Gina are serving as co-chairs.  We meet on a regular monthly basis, and we have one or two one-day retreats per year.

We work alongside the minister to plan and create worship that is intended to be meaningful, thought-provoking, fortifying, comforting, refreshing and will resonate with the congregation as we aim to meet that part of UUFSB’s mission to encourage individual spiritual growth and interdependent connection with each other. We know that not every service can or should be all of those things, and we have learned that not every service will speak to every person.

The Worship Associates work with other groups of the Fellowship’s volunteers (musicians, tech team, Board members, ushers, greeters, hospitality) to provide a reliable Sunday morning ritual of welcome, engagement and community-building, and we are grateful for the recognition and support that the Board and the congregation have extended recently as we endeavor to bring meaningful worship to our community while we (hopefully) transition to settled ministry this coming year.
