Pete Mancini & the Hillside Airmen at Grounds & Sounds Café

Singer song-writer Pete Mancini got his start as the front man and songwriter of Butchers Blind, a critically acclaimed rock band from NYC. In 2017 he released his debut solo album Foothill Freeway, which explored the Americana influences that were a hallmark of his former band. He has since released two additional albums, Flying First Class in 2019, and Killing The Old Ways in 2020.

Over the years, Mancini has opened for acts such as Jimmy Webb, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Pure Prairie League, Robbie
Fulks, Amy Helm, Larry Campbell & Theresa Williams, Kevin Gordon, and Iain Matthews.

Open Mic: 8:00 p.m. (signup starts at 7:30 p.m.); main act goes on around 8:45 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
