This morning is Rev. James’ first Sunday leading worship at UUFSB! In his message, he reflects on the religious significance of the invention of the ice cream sundae by a Unitarian minister and a member of his congregation in 1892. After the service, we will celebrate this historic event with an ice cream social. Children, youth, and even adults are invited to bring backpacks or other bags with them for a “Blessing of the Backpacks” that will take place at the beginning of the service.
