Grounds & Sounds Welcomes The Other Shoe – Fri., Oct. 9, 7:30 p.m.
Grounds & Sounds is pleased to welcome The Other Shoe back to our stage in October!
Fronted by singer/songwriter Joe Perricone, the band plays a soulful mix of originals based on life, love, and the human condition. The Other Shoe…let it drop on you! They take from all of their favorites, shake up the SHOE and throw it down. If you like Folk, Americana, R&B, Reggae, and Singer-Songwriter, then you will dig this!
It’s a big band – some nights they are eight, some nights a more intimate group – but it’s always groovin’ and people are movin’! Here are a couple of live song links to check out!
The show begins with an Open Mic at 7:30 p.m. (signup at 7:00); the main act goes on at about 8:15. Refreshments available: Coffee, tea, cold beverages, desserts, cheese and crackers; remember to bring your own wine (small corking fee). Tickets are only $20 and you can purchase them at the Grounds & Sounds website (or you can just show up on the night of the show). We hope to see you there!
