Winter Solstice and Yule Past and Present

The Winter Solstice and the holidays we celebrate around this festive time of year celebrate the theme of “a light in the darkness.” We find parallels between the natural cycle of the shortest day and the promise of renewed life and hope, inviting reflection on personal times of struggle and the assurance that even in the darkest moments, light will eventually return. This time emphasizes the importance of inner strength and community during the winter season as we draw inspiration from the past and look to the future.
