We Shall Not Be Moved: How to Live in Infinite Hope

These are difficult and overwhelming times. It can be tough to know just what to do. When we sing “We Shall Not Be Moved,” we are not only reminding ourselves of our long history of doing the hard work of loving this world but we are voicing our commitment as Unitarian Universalists to do the work to stand our ground, to protect those who need us, and to find ways forward toward a just world. What might it mean to shift ourselves out of the despair, anger, and helplessness that many of us are feeling into a space of infinite hope?
