This summer as we mark 250 years of the experiment that is the United States, we can also acknowledge our own long history as Unitarians & Universalists here in the U.S. And while this may be a time for fireworks and celebrations, we are living in deeply troubled times.Summer is a time for rest for many of us, but it is also a time when we can “gather our spirits” – taking stock of the work we’ve done so far and the things we have yet to do.
