The Fellowship Book Group meets via Zoom on the first Friday of the month. On Sept. 5, we will be discussing Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. As described in this NYT review, the novel is an “an Appalachian David Copperfield [that] reimagines Dickens’s story in a modern-day rural America contending with poverty and opioid addiction.” Bonus optional reading: Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield.
