Participants meet to knit and crochet shawls for members of the Fellowship who are going through a time of difficulty or celebration and could benefit from the physical comfort of a shawl made by members of this special ministry. At each meeting, once we’ve had a chance to catch up with each other a bit, there’s a specific format we follow that includes knitting while thinking of folks in our lives who are going through troubling times, and knitting in silence, and blessing the handiwork, among other things. It’s always interesting to see what everyone’s working on, and how much they’ve progressed since the last meeting.

We meet the 2nd Thursday evening of the month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Beginners and experienced hand-workers alike are welcomed. If you’re looking for another way to make a contribution to the Fellowship, connect with folks in a relaxed setting, and would like to knit or crochet with others, come down and give it a try. If you know someone who would benefit from a shawl, we’d also like to hear from you.. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Shelly Psaris (shelly.psaris@gmail.com).
