Raising Money for UUFSB

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Stony Brook relies on the generosity of members and friends to support its work. The Ways and Means Committee organizes fundraising activities of the Fellowship.  These activities include the annual canvas, short term projects leading to a specific fundraising event such as the 1890’s Fair and Granny’s Attic, and other methods of raising the money needed for the operation the Fellowship.  Click on the links below for more information on specific fundraising efforts, or contact the Ways and Means Committee for more information on the overall fundraising programs and goals of the Fellowship.

Other ways of raising money for the Fellowship include:

Endowment and Planned Giving

  • The Endowment and Planned Giving Committee helps members of the Fellowship understand planned giving opportunities, and works toward the long-term financial stability of UUFSB.

Food/Merchant Certificates

Online Shopping

  • Support the Fellowship while you shop online at Amazon.com and Global Goods Partners.

Grounds and Sounds

  • Grounds & Sounds is a monthly coffee house style acoustic music venue held in the Fellowship’s sanctuary on the second Friday of each month.  Proceeds go the Fellowship.
